The first time you open Pretty Links Pro, the Onboarding Wizard launches automatically. It’s a short walkthrough that gets your plugin configured, creates your first link, and gets you tracking clicks within a few minutes.
Can I Skip It? Can I Come Back?
Yes to both. You can close the wizard at any time and pick up where you left off later — a Continue setup notice appears on any Pretty Links admin screen until you finish. None of the steps are permanent until you finish them, and any choices you make can be changed later in Painel > Pretty Links > Opções.
The Steps
Bem-vindo
A quick splash with the Pretty Links logo and an intro. Click Get started to begin.
Licença
Paste your license key and click Activate License to turn on Pro features and updates. If you already activated during installation, you can click Skip and move on.
Recursos
Turn on the features you plan to use. You’ll see toggles for things like Rastreamento de links (record click counts and unique visitors), Não seguir (add rel="nofollow" to every link), and Patrocinado (add rel="patrocinado" to every link). You can also opt to install the MonsterInsights free Google Analytics plugin from this step.
Leave the recommended toggles on and adjust later in Painel > Pretty Links > Opções se necessário.
Link bonito
The wizard walks you through making one link right inside the wizard. Paste in a target URL (try one of your affiliate links or a long article URL), give it an optional name, and click Create Link. You’ll get back a clean short URL you can share immediately. Prefer to do this later? Click Skip for now.
Category (Pro Only)
If you created a link on the previous step, this step lets you attach a category to it. Pick an existing category or type a new name. If you skipped link creation, the wizard skips this step automatically.
PrettyPay (Stripe Connect)
If you plan to sell products or accept payments through your links, click Connect with Stripe to start the OAuth flow. Otherwise click Skip — you can connect Stripe later from the Opções página.
Acabamento
A summary of what you set up: your first link, the category (if attached), your license, Stripe connection, and the list of features you turned on. If you queued any Pro-gated features earlier and have since upgraded, the wizard will turn those on now and show what was enabled.
Completo
A brief confirmation, then you’re redirected to the Pretty Links Dashboard.
What Happens Next
When you finish the wizard, you land on the Pretty Links Dashboard with one link already created and ready to share. From here, head to Criando seu primeiro link atraente (the long version) to learn the full add-new flow, or jump to Onde encontrar as coisas to get oriented.
