O Bar bonito is a branded toolbar that sits at the top (or bottom) of the destination page when a visitor clicks one of your pretty links. Below the bar, the target page loads in full — but visitors see your branding, your message, and your call-to-action persistently displayed.
It’s a more visible alternative to Redirecionamento Cloak and a tool for keeping your audience connected to your brand even when they’re consuming external content.

What the Pretty Bar Can Include
You can configure the Pretty Bar with:
- Your logo or site title — Anchored on the left;
- A custom message — A headline, tagline, or call-to-action;
- A button — Linking to your homepage, opt-in form, or any URL;
- Social sharing icons — Encouraging visitors to share what they’re viewing;
- A close button — So visitors who want full screen can dismiss the bar.
You control the colors, text, and layout from the global settings.
Setting Up the Pretty Bar
Global Pretty Bar settings live at Dashboard > Pretty Links > Options > Pretty Bar. There you can configure:
- Bar position (top or bottom of the page);
- Altura e cores do balcão;
- Envio do logotipo;
- Default headline and button text;
- Social sharing options;
- Default behavior for new pretty-bar links.
Once your global settings look the way you want, set any link’s redirect type to Bar bonito to use that style.
When to Use Pretty Bar
- Links de afiliados — Keep your brand visible while sending visitors to a partner page;
- Curated content sharing — When you share third-party articles with your audience, the bar reminds them where they came from;
- Lead capture — Add an opt-in or “subscribe” button that follows the visitor to the external page;
- Promotional campaigns — Add a discount-code bar or limited-time offer banner above any landing page.
Automatic Fallback
Like Redirecionamento Cloak, Pretty Bar works by loading the target site inside a frame below the bar. Some sites refuse to be framed for security reasons.
When that happens, Pretty Links automatically falls back to a regular 302 redirect, so the visitor still reaches the destination — just without the bar. You don’t need to do anything; the fallback is automatic.
Per-Link Override
While the global settings define the default appearance, you can also customize the bar on a per-link basis from the link’s edit screen. For example, you might use the standard bar for affiliate links but customize a specific bar with a campaign-specific message for a holiday promo.
Pontos a serem lembrados
- Celular — The Pretty Bar can take up significant screen real estate on phones. Test how it looks on small screens before committing;
- Affiliate rules — Some affiliate programs prohibit overlays, frames, or modifications to their landing pages. Read your program’s terms before using Pretty Bar on affiliate links;
- Page interactions — Forms, modals, and full-screen experiences on the target page work, but may be visually cramped by the bar. Test the actual experience;
- HTTPS — Both your site and the target should be HTTPS for the framed page to load.
