Pretty Links Link in Bio Add-on

The Pretty Links Link in Bio add-on allows you to create mobile-responsive landing pages for sharing your social media profiles. These pages showcase all your social media, product, video, and other links in one centralized location on your website.

This document explains how to install the Link in Bio add-on and create link pages that can be shared via URL or QR code.

Hinweis: The Link in Bio add-on requires a Pretty Links Marketer plan.

Managing and sharing links across multiple platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, and other social networks, can be challenging. Additionally, social media platforms sometimes limit the sharing of links in posts and videos. 

The Link in Bio add-on solves this problem by creating a single landing page containing all your important links. Your followers can access this page through the one unique link or QR code, which you can add anywhere.

The add-on offers three customizable templates, each designed for a specific purpose. Each template automatically adapts to mobile devices and includes your branding elements. 

In addition, you can add buttons to various content, including affiliate links, payment buttons, product displays, and embedded videos.

Before installing, ensure you have an active Pretty Links paid subscription. The add-on works with all Pretty Links premium plans.

  1. Navigieren Sie zu Dashboard > Pretty Links > Add-ons.
  1. Suche nach “Link in Bio” in the search field.
  2. Klicken Sie auf die Add-on installieren Taste.
  3. Wait for the installation to complete.

Once installed, you can access Link in Bio pages at Dashboard > Pretty Links > Link in Bio.

The General, Display, and Analytics settings will apply to all of your link-in-bio pages. You should configure these settings before creating your individual link-in-bio pages.

  1. Navigieren Sie zu Dashboard > Pretty Links > Options > Link in Bio.
  1. Here, configure the following default settings:
    1. Default Template: select which page template will be the default one;
    2. Default Button Color: set the default color for all buttons on your pages;
    3. Default Button Shape: set default shape of your page buttons.
  2. Prüfen Sie die Show Social Icons checkbox to show social media icons on Link in Bio pages.
  3. You can also check the Enable Click Tracking checkbox to track Link in Bio page clicks under Dashboard > Pretty Links > Clicks.

Creating Your First Link in Bio Page

Link in Bio pages work similarly to WordPress pages but include specialized features for link management and mobile optimization.

Adding a New Page

  1. Navigieren Sie zu Dashboard > Pretty Links > Link in Bio Pages.
  1. Klicken Sie auf die Add New Link in Bio Page Taste.
  2. Enter your page Titel (typically your name or brand).
  1. Fügen Sie eine optionale Beschreibung in the content editor.
  2. Configure the in-page Link in Bio Settings.
  1. Fügen Sie Ihr Social Media Links.
  1. Optionally, you can add one or more buttons to links to any additional content.
  1. Klicken Sie auf die veröffentlichen. button to create the Link in Bio page.

Choosing a Template

The add-on includes three professional templates. Each template serves different marketing needs:

  • Minimalist: Clean design for simple link collections
  • Hybrid: Multi-section layout with tabs for links, products, blog posts, and a contact form
  • Product-Focused: E-commerce design highlighting featured products

Select your template from the Vorlage dropdown menu. The preview updates automatically when you switch to a new template.

Adding Buttons

Die Buttons section manages all additional links on your Link in Bio pages. You can add various content types and arrange them using drag-and-drop functionality.

You can select the button type for each button by selecting it in the Button Type dropdown.

  1. Klicken Sie auf Add Button in the Buttons section.
  2. Wählen Sie PrettyLink as the button type.
  3. Im Rahmen der Select Pretty Link dropdown, choose the existing PrettyLink to use.
  4. Optionally, you can upload the Button Image.
  5. Also, if needed, customize the Button Text.

Payment links allow direct sales from your Link in Bio page.

  1. Klicken Sie auf Add Button.
  2. Wählen Sie PrettyPay Link as the button type.
  3. Im Rahmen der Select PrettyPay Link dropdown, choose the existing PrettyPay Link to use.
  4. Upload a Produktbild (optional).
  5. Enable the Show price on button option to display the PrettyPay Link price.
  6. Enable the Show product details below button option to display product details.
  7. Customize the Button Text if needed.

Adding Videos

You can also add links to your videos.

  1. Klicken Sie auf Add Button.
  2. Wählen Sie Video as the button type.
  3. Paste your YouTube or Vimeo URL into the Video URL Feld.
  4. Unter Display as, select how the video should be added to the Link in Bio page:
    1. Wählen Sie die Button option to use a button with a link to the video;
    2. Wählen Sie die Video Card option to embed the video.
  5. If embedding video, set the Video Background Color, or check the Transparent background checkbox.
  6. Optionally, you can modify the Button Text.

Adding Product Displays

Product displays showcase detailed product information with images and descriptions.

  1. Klicken Sie auf Add Button.
  2. Wählen Sie Product/Group Display as the button type.
  3. Im Rahmen der Select Product Display dropdown, choose the existing PrettyPay Product Display or Group Display to use.
  4. If needed, customize the Button Text.

Arranging Button Order

You can organize your buttons by dragging them into your preferred order. Click and hold any button’s bar, and move it to the desired position.

Sharing Link in Bio Page

After configuring and publishing your page, you can share your page using a URL or QR code:

  1. Start editing your Link in Bio page.
  2. Unter Page URLklicken Sie auf das Symbol Copy URL to save your Link in Bio page URL to the clipboard. You can add this URL to your social media profiles and other places.
  3. Unter QR Code, click on the Download QR Code button to download the generated QR code image. QR codes offer quick access to your Link in Bio page. You can use it, for example, at events or in printed and digital materials.

Managing Multiple Pages

You can create multiple Link in Bio pages for different purposes or audiences. The listing page displays all your pages with quick access to editing and sharing options.

Unter Dashboard > Pretty Links > Link in Bio Pages, you can find the following details and options for each page:

  • Page name with edit links
  • Creation date
  • Direct URL with copy button
  • Quick actions (Edit, Trash, Visit, QR Code)
