Your bio page should look like Sie — not like the generic template. Link in Bio gives you direct control over colors, imagery, button styling, and featured content, with a live preview so you can see every change as you make it.
Dieser Leitfaden ist Teil der Pretty Links Link in Bio Add-on, der Einstiegspunkt für das Add-on „Link in Bio“.

Background
Choose how the area behind your content looks.
- Solid color — Pick a hex color or use the color picker. Good for clean, brand-aligned looks;
- Background image — Upload any image. Works well for atmospheric, lifestyle, or brand photography. The image is automatically scaled and centered.
For images, keep the file under 500KB if possible — bio pages are often opened on mobile data, so smaller files mean a faster page.
Profile Image
Your headshot or logo. Square images give the best result — most templates crop the image into a circle. Recommended size is 400×400 pixels or larger.

If you upload a rectangular image, the center is used and the edges are trimmed. Crop your photo before uploading if a specific framing matters.
Button Colors and Shape
Buttons have their own styling controls:
- Background color — The fill color of the button;
- Text color — The label color;
- Hover color — Optional, for desktop visitors hovering with a mouse;
- Shape — Rounded corners, fully rounded (pill), or square corners.
Pick combinations that feel on-brand. A clean look is white buttons on a colored background, or colored buttons on a white background. Avoid low-contrast pairs (light gray text on white, for example) — they’re hard to read on phones in sunlight.

Featured Content
Some templates support a “featured” slot at the top of the page — the place where your most important link or video goes. This might be:
- A pinned video (your latest YouTube upload, a product demo, a course preview);
- A pinned button styled differently from the rest;
- A featured product card (Cards template only).
Use the featured slot deliberately. It’s the first thing visitors see, so make it the eine thing you want them to do.
Live Preview
The right side of the editor shows a live preview that updates as you change settings. You can switch the preview between desktop and mobile views to see how the page looks on each.

This is the fastest way to iterate. Tweak a color, watch the preview, tweak again. Don’t save and reload — keep editing until it looks right, then save once at the end.
QR Code Download
Every bio page gets its own QR code. Find the QR-Code herunterladen button in the bio page editor.
The QR code points at your bio page URL. Use it for:
- Printed business cards;
- Conference lanyards and badges;
- Product packaging;
- Slide decks (“scan for the resource list”);
- Storefront window decals;
- Trade show banners.
The QR code downloads as a high-resolution PNG, ready for print at any size.
Tips for a Polished Page
- Pick three colors maximum. A background color, a button color, and a text color is plenty. More than that starts to feel busy;
- Keep button labels short. Aim for two to four words. “Get the newsletter” beats “Click here to subscribe to my weekly newsletter.”;
- Order buttons by importance. The first button gets the most clicks. Put the link you most want visitors to follow at the top;
- Test on a phone. Most bio page traffic is mobile. Open your published page on your phone and tap each button to make sure it works and feels right.
